Yellow Green Red - "Gently Corrected" mix
Two days in a row I’m sending you emails, who do I think I am, SHEIN?? I’m just trying to get better at sharing, that’s all! Anyway, I put together a mix for the good folks at Health Connection and figured some of y’all might be interested to check it out as well. A little over an hour’s worth of recent and older tunes, mostly the sort of dismal, slow, freaky music that I find to be simultaneously unknowable and thrilling. I also repeated the crass move1 of wrapping the mix with a piece of music I made, in this case my part-time project with Jo Livingstone called The Dolorous Stroke. I really enjoyed making and listening to this mix and hope you do too. It’s on Soundcloud, right here at this very link.
01. Synthetic Dream "Work" (1981)
02. God's Gift "Today I Never Thought Of You At All" (1993)
03. Cosa Rosa "Die Fantasie Reicht Bis Zum Knie" (1983)
04. Clock DVA "Hide" (1989)
05. Carlos Peron "Frigorex" (1981)
06. Doubling Riders "The Danger Of Losing Consistence" (1988)
07. Pxmper "Lavender Milk" (2023)

The first mix I’m referring to, “Formal Apology”, ends with a track from my solo endeavor Trend Forecast. That one is still up on Soundcloud and certainly worth peeping if you dig “Gently Corrected” at all. You can find that one here.
